Last month, participants gathered for the 9th Spa Invitational to enjoy pampering services while supporting Grace Medical Home.
Spa Invitational is an adaptation of a traditional golf tournament, with the Spa at the Hyatt Regency Orlando as the course and the 18 holes consisting of facials, massages, and more. Presented by Orlando Health, attendees were encouraged to have Less Pace, More Grace.
“Spa Invitational began as a fun spoof of a traditional golf tournament. With the help of an amazing committee, Spa Invitational has become one of Central Florida’s premier women’s events putting connection and well-being at the center of the day,” said Sherry Magee, founder and Grace board member.
Attendees enjoyed the spa to receive treatments and participated in “shoportunities,” and a silent auction.
Slowing down and escaping for the day allowed the event to raise crucial funds for Grace.
“I pinch myself knowing that this year, our event contributed more than $100,000 to Grace ensuring that so many families will see the Grace of God. Our community is blessed to have the amazing volunteers and professionals at Grace to help our neighbors get access to high quality medical care,” Magee said.
The funds raised at the Spa Invitational enable Grace to provide continuous care to the many patients who visit every day.
