Grace Medical Home recently welcomed two new members to their Board of Directors: Amanda Dukes, Professional On-Call for the Communications Division of Orange County Government, and Lisa Wong Shue, owner of Skyward Tax & Accounting Service.
Amanda Dukes, a long-time Grace supporter, is an Emmy-award-winning journalist and media relations professional with a track record of building strong, trusting relationships with community leaders. She currently serves as a Senior Public Information Officer for the Communications Division of Orange County Government following her 33-year tenure in every aspect of news production, most notably at WESH Channel 2. She has served on numerous boards for non-profit organizations, collaborating with leadership to develop communications strategies that advance the mission.
Lisa Wong Shue is the owner of Skyward Tax & Accounting Service, demonstrating a keen aptitude for financial management and business leadership. Lisa contributed her skills to government initiatives, most notably, serving on the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel with the Department of Treasury. Lisa is also a staunch advocate of giving back to the community, frequently volunteering her time and expertise to the Orlando Union Rescue Mission, Osceola Women’s Home and Junior Achievement, just to name a few.
“Amanda has been an advocate for Grace Medical Home since our beginning. She brings more than 33 years of communications experience in Central Florida along with her strong faith and heart for serving others,” shared Stephanie Garris, Grace’s CEO. “A longtime devotion volunteer, Lisa loves giving back to the community through volunteer service. We are thrilled that she brings her expertise to Grace Medical Home. I have no doubt that Amanda and Lisa will make immediate and lasting impressions to further advance Grace’s mission.”
